DoceboDocebo, compact platform 2.0, flexible, easy to customize, accessible without effort for companies of all sizes and starting with training organizations. Continually evolving.

The issue of LMS platform design, is something Docebo has taken to heart with the obvious effort put into improving the User Interface, . Simple and refined, it also takes into account learner social network experience. The “big” players ought to take note!

Interface most definitely 2.0: Facebook users and other social media users will feel at ease with the new home page and its services offered – comments and notably the Forum annotations have been harmoniously integrated with standard LMS (Learning Management System) functions – information on training paths, current certifications, training materials and resources available on the site. With a special place for video conferences: proof that the solution designers are listening to a market that video is very much a part of.

2.0 also takes care of mobility: Docebo offers contents that are accessible from all mobile devices. The example that we saw shows a real design solution that dedicates the main part of the screen to the contents and the accessible services on the LMS platform, whilst redirecting users to the tablet’s screen margins for secondary actions.

With regards to white-labelling, this is nothing new. It is a popular feature with e-learning organizations, which can, for example, use Docebo under their own brand in order to diffuse e-learning modules and blended learning courses seamlessly with their own customers. Training organizations more than ever need to have a LMS and, without exception, have a way to develop customizations with a top-quality market solution.

The main takeaways of the (already) released version: a complete overhaul of its design and in particular drag and drop which greatly facilitates use. This is further enhanced by the multiple contextual help that bolsters learner confidence and user experience, and also administrator experience since the interface is similar. Concerning APIs (programs which allow applications to exchange data with Web ecosystems), Docebo communicates with all major existing Web Applications and services: Google Apps, GotoMeeting, Twitter, Facebook, WordPress, Webex, Linkedin.

As for reporting, which was also reviewed: it is based on what we are starting to see in big data analytics: an enormous amount of data collected from learners presented in simple to build and easy to read reports. This is also the case here.
