Docebo meets 50+ key criteria to become one organization’s ideal LMS

• 2 min read

IPI Case StudyWhen the USA-based International Parking Institute (IPI) realized it needed a way to deliver the most up to date, technologically responsive courses to a global audience, it started searching for a suitable LMS. To help in this search, the IPI produced a document setting out over 50 required features. The Docebo Cloud-based LMS met all of IPI’s business requirements, and, most critically, the IPI found that Docebo offered easy integration with its other corporate systems and provided a high level of customer service.

“When it came to getting an LMS we needed excellent, reliable customer service from the provider. Moreover, its cost couldn’t be prohibitive. Our business requirements document had more than 50 required features. Additionally, we required a cloud-based solution so users wouldn’t experience significant downtimes while the LMS was being upgraded. Indeed, we needed reliable, on-demand, 24/7 accessibility to the elearning materials via the LMS for our global users.” Kathleen Federici, M.Ed., Director of Professional Development at IPI.

The challenge

Due to the growth of IPI’s business, they had to find a way to deliver the most up-to-date, technologically responsive courses to a global audience. Making the move to introduce elearning led to a need for a learning management system (LMS) to manage and monitor proceedings.

IPI got together a business requirements document which had more than 50 required features, and they prioritized excellent customer service along with reliable, on-demand, 24/7 accessibility to the elearning materials via the LMS for their global users. IPI also preferred a cloud-based LMS solution so users wouldn’t experience significant downtimes while the LMS was being upgraded.

The solution

Generating a positive learner experience was key for the IPI. Learners required courses created via the most relevant technology, giving them an advantage when experiencing asynchronous learning. Furthermore, users needed to be able to access the course content easily, as well as to begin and navigate the programs intuitively. IPI in fact had a long list of such key criteria for its LMS, and it adopted Docebo because it met all of their business requirements.
