Did these translation corrections ever get implemented?

I have been evaluating 4 LMS/LCMS systems over the last few weeks and tried a number on opensoursecms.com including Docebo, here is a general complaint about the English in the software and manuals which is confusing and unclear.

I think if this project is going to have the success it deserves it NEEDS to resolve the English Language issues and improve documentation.

I speak fluent Spanish and have basic understanding of Italian, so I am not just attacking the concept of multilingualism, but if Docebo is to succeed we need a properly documented, correctly translated and fast responsive English support group.

I would be certainly happy to assist in any way i can to improve the English in the system, because i really think this is the only system that can give Moodle a run for its money.

Any other English Speakers out there or who have implemented an English language Docebo site? Please contact me here or at ts@ebsi.ie

in Docebo we have a group of people dedicated to translating the software in their languages, and of course we include their work in the next releases.
If somebody wants to help us in the translations or in the documentation, please read the "developers and translation" page and contact us, we are always happy to receive help!

Actually I applied to be a translator about 2 weeks ago at this stage and still have not been approved/rejected...

Guys, I am seriously concerned about the at least the international future of this project...

1) the documentation at least in English is unclear and badly written
2) i see posts on this forum that are months without response... at least a courtesy response that the particular problem can't be resolved by you would help
3) I have seen a number of international posters who like myself have started off with great enthusiasm only I fear to have moved on due to lack of appropriate support... I believe what this project needs is a PUSH... and a concerted effort to generate the level of international interest that will create a dynamic in itself and allow the development of patches, fixes and additional modules that this system will need to take its place among the top Open Source LMS's out there.

Or will my call fall on deaf ears?

you're right but if this is a community everybody is supposed to answer to the questions and not only us.
I just came back from a week of work in Argentina and I didn't have much time to participate in the forum.
By the way, I fear that I didn't receive your request to become a translator, so please wait for tomorrow and I will give you all the instructions. As you said, a good starting point can be the revision and update of the documentation.
I also appreciated a lot your participation in the forum, if everybody starts doing like you this place will be crowded very soon.

Thanks for that, your encouragement is appreciated.  Sorry if I seem frustrated, but I see great potential in this project, so much so that I have put my hand in the fire by going straight to production with our own Docebo.  We expect to have it live and populated with a couple of Mods in a few days time.  Once its completed I will be packaging the source code and will send to you so that you can have it available for download in a 'Mods' section here if you like. 

If anyone else has modifications made I suggest you make a policy of documenting your changes so that they can be shared with the rest of the community!
