I am currently using version 3.0.5 within an academic environment. I teach several university level network security courses, and yesterday I had my students log in to the portal to complete their mid-term examination. Only one student out of 10 was able to complete the exam. I had structured the test as the following screenshots show.
The total number of questions that were entered into the system were 110. Of this total only 80 questions would be provided to the students. I provided for a total 3.5 hours to complete the exam. Upon completion the student would submit the exam and automatically be presented with their main home page. I then reset them and asked that they attempt it again, with the same results. Any ideas of what the problem may be???
What I have decided as a quick fix was to ask that they attempt again but this time I would set the options to display only one question per page. Hopefully that will be able to get it completed.
In addition I have noticed a compatibilty problem durning testing when using IE 7.0 but this issue is only 40 percent related since only 4 students were using IE 7.0
Lastly I would like to ask about the figure stored within the configuration section of the system it is labeled session time, the value in it is set to 2000. Is this value calculated in seconds? Could this be the problem, since the students are within the same page for up to 3 hrs???
