Object : SCORM 2004 Sequencing and Navigation
I know that Docebo version 3.6.0.2 can support SCORM 2004, but does it support the Sequencing and Navigation? I have created a course using the Photoshop Linear SCORM package from ADL, when i launch the course, those sequencing rules such as 'flow' control mode have not been implemented.

Does anyone know whether Docebo version 3.6.0.2 can support Sequencing and Navigation? If yes then that might be my own mistakes and i will check again my course creation and settings. Thanks.

Hi omid020, thanks for your reply.

I have tried to create another course using different SCORM package but still the sequencing rules is not working. Could you please download the Photoshop Linear package and try it to see if the course can launch according to the sequencing rules?

Download Photoshop Linear from http://home.workforcecolab.org/file.php/17/Photoshop_Linear.zip

Really appreciate if you can help. Thanks.

I examined your SCORM package . It could interact with LMS and send information to teacher
but I thinks it couldn`t send detailed information such as "Max score" .
Could you please send me url of your SCORM application ?

Thanks

Sorry for the late reply.

I have double checked my Photoshop course, it can also track the student's interaction with the system as i can see the green correct mark beside those lessons that i have launched, but there is no navigation button (Next and Previous button). According to the imsmanifest.xml file in the Photoshop package, the 'flow' control mode is set to True, so those navigation buttons should be there. Besides, the 'choice' control mode for Module 1, Module 2 and so on is set to false, which means learner cannot simply choose which lesson to be launched, for example, when the learner is at Lesson 3, they cannot click Lesson 6 in Module 2 (Lesson 6 is not clickable even when mouse over it). But in my case, learner can simply click on any lesson or Exam question in the menu. Is it the same thing happen to your course too? I can't identify that from your screen capture in your last reply.

If your system can run the course with the navigation buttons and also learner cannot simply choose which lesson to be launched, then i think the way i create the course or import of the package was wrong. Can you please tell me the steps for how you setup that course with the Photoshop package? I hope i can try to create the course again and see whether the sequencing will works. Sorry that i cannot send you the url of my application because it is just a local system.

Thanks.

Hi ,

Truly I don`t know what is SCORM creator application ? Is it an adobe photoshop plugin !??

for example, when the learner is at Lesson 3, they cannot click Lesson 6 in Module 2 (Lesson 6 is not clickable even when mouse over it).

No , I can access to any lesson in any Module at any time .

but there is no navigation button (Next and Previous button).

There is one hint :
Please go to your scorm object properties and from properties tab make this change :
properties in admin area or teacher area
Of course this mode works in your Exam part very well .

Erba Claudio,

This is very frustrating because Docebo advertises on the web site, and manual, that it supports SCORM 2004. I am doing seriuous research on the field of SCORM SN and I wasted a lot of my precious time trying to make my stuff run.

It was impossible because Docebo it is just not a certified SCORM 2004 fully compliant LMS!!!!!!!!... Advertizing that it suports SCORM 2004 is disonest!!!!...

Dear Gustavo,

please rember that the application is open source and you are using it for free. Noone advertised that DOCEBOLMS is SCORM certified.
Then please don't be Rude, if you develop the sequencing module and want to give us you are more than welcome.
All other rude thread will be moderated and your account erased, you can go to another LMS community.
