Object : Change Date Format
Greetings:

I am inquring if there is a way to change the date format from dd/mm/yyyy to mm/dd/yyyy?  I see there is a way to formate the date in the language area of the admin area, which I have done.  However the date still resorts back to dd/mm/yyyy in the classroom area.

Any suggestions?

Did you ever find an Answer to this?  I am curious myself if this can be done.

I have also tried to go to Main>Language>Language Management. I go to the Calendar items and change both items listed and the date format still does not change.

Is there another place or am I missing a step?

Gio, it was when I went to main, language and then I'd click on the settings button. Now that I have v4.04 it doesn't show any of those items I had before.

With new version it says: first line framework, language, lang and nothing listed. Did something not import correctly? I noticed that a lot of titles for menus aren't different. For example, when I suscribed a user I could choose guest, ghost, student, mentor, tutor, instructor etc. Now it only says level 1, level 2.....

Where would I go in new v4.04 to change date format and the subscriber labels?

Same here.
I am using 4.0.4 and there is no regional settings.
I can see the module in the folder, \doceboCore\modules\regional_settings but cannot find it on any menu in admin.

Hello,
in version 4 this is not configurable buy administration interface.

You have to open the core_reg_setting database table using a tool like  phpMyAdmin and change the value of "date_format" to "m_d_Y" for you language.

bye,
Giovanni.

Thank you so much. I looked at the values, and didn't realise those were the one's giving me the trouble.
It's working now.

Thanks

Hello,
you don't have to change the table collation but instead, look inside the table values / browse the table records and edit the one that has "date_format" as paramName.

bye,
Giovanni.
