Hi,

Im trying to install Docebo on a server. I uploaded all the files by FTP
I've run the url in my browser to instal during installation it gives a report of some files (chmod etc) I changed the mod-rights. after refresh no listing of files to be adjusted, continuing, installation goes well. Database record are created (345) So the installer can acces the database. Next step installing the languages in the installation proces see picture:

So after pressing start it gives the report Failed I can choose skip for the next language file and is says  FAILED again, so on till the end?  it said "no acces to database" I don't understand because the installer just created 345 database-tables in the database, so it CAN access the database?? Clicking continue I get the screen with all the URl of the system, for the lms, crm etc. I choose LMS and after the login I enter the LMS-area where the courses wil be displayed. Choosing the admin-area (for entering backend &  manually importing languages) i'm ending up in an empty page with the URL: 192.xxxxxxx/docebo/doceboCore/  ITS A BLANK PAGE  what is going wrong?? on my local(test)server it worked imediently!

Are database data written in "config.php" file?

After reader and searching a lot in this forum I found a thread aboud DOMXML.
After installing (by provider) of this DOMXML it all worked well.
After loggin in as a admin , entering the backend"I get a message "configuration" problem





For the first impression everything is working well? exept this message?

Do you what's going wrong?

Probably alarma started for :

Safe Mode: Off (instead of ON)
Register global: ON (instead of OFF)

Register global setting is more dangerous than safe_mode

Thanks for your reply,

This safe-mode issue I was aware of, the "register-globals"-issue is new for me.
So I have to ask my provider for this changing. At the moment i'm still in test-mode for Docebo.

When I leave this both settings unchanged does it involved or conflict the functionality of Docebo?
So dous this have any influence on Docebo?

When I finished testing-mode en decide to go live I wil ask the hosting-provider to change these settings.

I also corrected a lot of words in the dutch translation and there were also few phrases still in englisch.
I have made an export of the 5 languagesfiles  see the result:




I have zipped them



where can I upload this zip to the docebo-site, so you can use them for other Dutch and Belgium users?

I recived the dutch translation and added to the default in svn, thank you.

You can change the setting trought php.ini or trought an .htaccess rule.

Refer to my previous post - funny characters over the Configuration page. That is due to improper language installed.

I realize xmldom php extension is buggy in easyphp2.0 version. So, the language xml files cannot be imported successful in docebo 3.6.

I use easyphp1.7 and manage to install docebo 3.6 with language xml parsed. Things worked fine now.
