I need to know this also, so if anyone can help, please do so.
I'd also like to know if this can be done but also include a company's organization.

We have periodic minor and occasionally major re-orgs.
If these changes can't be incorported easisly Docebo could become a hard sell to the executives.

Has this been solved yet?

My CSV files does go in and and its says that the user was imported successfully but when I go back the main user listing the names I imported are not there? Is there documentation on this available? I need to be able to explain this to our customers.

hello,
you must be sure that the right permissions have been set to the files/ folder and that the organization char is active (check configuration > Keep it simple > Use tree cataloguing system).

if then the import fails, you should at least get some error message..

bye,
Giovanni.

p.s.
also check that you can upload files from other modules of the platform and that you don't have any filter active on your users list.

Hi,

I am wondering how to insert tree node values, If I am importing users from csv file. Like my node field is compa1 and value is voce1, how can I include the same in csv file so that user is automatically imported in relevant tree node.

Please advise.

Regards
Vijay

Hello,
I'm not sure that I've fully understood what you mean, anyway you probably could do it using IO task

(when you configure the connector you have to leave empty the tree_code setting and then when you select the fields you define which one to use as tree_code. that field will be used to place users in the desired folder)

bye,
Giovanni.

Hi Derks,

Sorry, I think I am a bit confused. As I am talking about "Import User" functionality from "User Management" section. Currently, I have associated one node field named "compa1" to attach User to a particular node.

Import User Option Under User Management

Now whenver someone uses registration from, they see this field and one they select any value from this field dropdown, user are placed in relevant node.

Registration Form

But when an administrator tries to import multiple user through CSV file under "User Management" section how can he put that value of node field under csv file.

Any advise?

Regards
Vijay

hello,
thanks for the detailed question.

To do this you have to associate the fields to the org. chart's folder you want to import users in. For example you can click the "assign user fields" icon of the "root"  folder and select "campo 1" (yes or cascade) or select it for the "prova" folder if you want to have that field only when you import users in that folder.

bye,
Giovanni.

Hi Geovanni.

I´m struggling with problem this too.
We are using 4.0.4 and this is our problem.

I´m trying to understand how the IO tasks functions works. I have a csv file with the fileds
userid;lastname;firstname;email;pass;tree_code

How do I import these users into docebo, placing them in the right node automatically?

Can this be done only through the io task? If so, how do I proceed? (This is especially interesting! We have over 5000 users and 300 nodes)
Can this be done by importing users from the user managment (admin area)? If so, why can´t I choose tree_code from the import dropdown menu?
Import users with the last column as tree_code
