Object : A newby question about configuring mail sender
Dear Docebo experts,

First of all, I would like to thank Docebo creators for that great product!
It's definitely the best LMS on the market. Very good job!

I would be very grateful with the help on the following issue:

I have installed Docebo locally on my Windows computer, but can't make emails (registration notifications sent to users) work.
The sendmail utility is emulated by a program located at
\usr\local\bin\sendmail.exe
What should I insert in the Emails sender field of the Login/Registration options? Incerting the above line didn't work.

I would appreciate any help or suggestion.
Thank you.

Alexander

SMTP server have to be configured IN the server and it not depends on the platform.
On local machine no mail server are generally installed.

hi,
you should insert the email address of the sender (i.e. your email address).

if it doesn't works you should check that your php installation is configured properly  so that the php's mail() function works.

bye,
Giovanni.
