Hi,
I have suddenly found that the page content editor freezes IE8... this is only happening on one of my courses the others seem fine. I can view the contents OK but if I click the cursor into the box to modify or add anything it freezes IE. Can anybody help please?
Is the only option to delete the course and start again?

are you using tinymce as editor?

You could try to open the page with firefox or google chrome and then edit the text that is causing problems to you. Then, when you've opened the editor try to click the "html" button. You should see all the code of the page.. try to delete it all (or cut and paste it in a file on your pc) and then click the "update" button. At this point you should get the empty editor. Save the page and try to edit it again using internet explorer; this time if you paste the content from another application try to use the "paste as plain text" or "paste from word" toolbar buttons instead of just ctrl+v.

If this doesn't help I suggest you to try to ask also in the tinymce forum; the version of the editor shipped with docebo 3.6.0.3 is 3.1.0.1.
