I want to use docebo for a company that has  several departments. Each department is not related with the others, it is completely independent. It  has its own groups, users, professors and courses. What I want to do is that the course catalogue can only be viewed by the groups that belong to each department but not for the users or groups of other departments. Is there any way to do this?

I've just realized that what I want to do is posted here: http://repository.docebo.com/samples/lms-eng/06_elearning.htm, the problem is that this is allegedly implemented for Docebo 4, and it is not available yet.

you can activate this in docebo 3.6 by going on configuration > e-learning > Easier interface and selecting "use course catalog".. then you'll find it under e-learning > e-learning > catalog.

Can i use Catalog function to assign group of categories (instead of courses) to groups of users? so that it do Category Visibility.

If i implement Catalog and category together, it make user confused..see screenshot below.

 
Could you advise any workaround?

I understand docebo's Curriculum feature, but i need the category very much.

I am thinking whether i can use english name of the category and do a translation to chinese. So, when the group of chinese users login, the category is translated. But, how to do that? Add key?

Another solution, is to put both Chinese and English name in one category and let catalog to do 'course visibility'. But, not professional enough. I may want to add other languages in future.
