I am in the process of making changes to the 'My Courses' page (module) and I was hoping to add say the first 100 characters of the course's description field. It does appear on the detail page but I am wanting it here as well.

Does anyone know how to achieve this? I was also hoping to add in the 'Duration' of the course, as well.
