Object : SCORM object learning item results tracking
Hi have a number of eLearning courses with SCORM ojects as the only course component.
Recently the these content items stopped working, the link between the SCROM IMS Manifest and course have broken somehow. When i replaced the SCORM items this fixed the ability of the users to view the courses but the results history of the previous SCORM items disappeared.

Can you tell me where the results for SCORM items are kept?

ie - the Course assessment score, date started, date finished, time in course

Hello,

Thanks for the response Giovanni.

Can you also tell me where thew SCORM package files are located? I need to update a SCORM file but do not want to affect the students already enrolled in the course.

Hi,

The physical scorm package files are located at <root>\files\doceboLms\scorm folder. You attempt to replace the file inside the zip manually? Let me know if you success.

My another thought is to load the new LO without removing the existing LO. Then, set the new LO's Access Permission (a key with a man icon) to those who have not attended the LO, and set the existing LO's Property (a key with a page icon) to hidden. But, it is not practical if too many students in that course.

May be someone has better idea.

Thanks Liangeh, That is what i was doing for some courses (Adjusting the learning object permissions) but some other courses the SCORM content item is requiring alot of updates, so I am having to load new versions all the time, and the student numbers are 500+ per course.

I will check out the scorm folder you mentioned and see if i can get my content developers and dba's to figure out a way to manually update the unpackaged content files there.

Hi there,

It is easy enough to upload your files into this directory and update what you may have there.  One word of warning though, is if your using linux/unix servers, ensure that the filenames are matching, as that operating system is case-sensitive.

Best Regards
