we are currently working on it and trying to figure out if this is a temporary problem or not.

We also plan to implement the dimdim 5.5 api in the future, inside the docebo 4 release and probably this will be backported to the last 3.6.x stable release.

Giovanni 3 things:
1 - How could 3.6 and 4.0 integrate with Dim Dim's new version?
2 - Does any of the other Video Conference tools in Docebo work (i.e, teleskill, etc...)?
3 - When adding the Dim Dim URL to configuration I noticed it must be added without http://  this could be the issue as DimDim now uses https:// for access...what file and line of code could I edit to replace the embedded http with https?

Anyway the situation is been described from the choice of the author of the drupal's dimdim module who gave up for the problems we all know:

Module no longer maintained: the lack of support from Dimdim and their constantly changing stance on who is allowed to use the API made it impossible to work on this project and hence it is no longer being worked on, I would highly encourage anyone to consider other web conferencing tools.

this doesn't mean that I suggest you to move to another conferencing tool too; but for sure this way of managing things from dimdim gives some major headaches to developers and a bad service to final users..

Currently trying to get some form of video conferencing built in, I looked at Docebo 4 it look fantastic wanted to congratulate you on it, unfortunately we are not able to move just yet as we have older system still running on older versions of MySql therefore we fall outside the recommended version.


would you be able to direct me to the correct setting for DIMDIM, as for now we created a trial account if it is worth getting we have no problem in looking further into it but need to be sure it will work... or maybe you know of something else currently we are running Docebo 3.6.0.4
