Here you can see a proposal related to an alternative way for student area (after log in then).
The idea is enable the admin to set up or the "tab" version or this version.
Feedback appreciated

The "tabbed" look is definitely in, so is the cleaner portlet user look, similar to the new sakai interface having this will definitely have Docebo noticed as an eLearning Industry 'best of the best'. Will 4.0 incorporate a clean portlet driven student page? I've seen the alternative student page image but it looks busy, is there a way to include or exclude some of these areas?

EVERY single area con be enabled or disabled (check the online demo to see how you can do it from the admin area -> E-learning -> Configuration -> Middle area)

Hello Claudio,

A friend is interested in the 4.0 version no later than May 30, 2010.  I've told him that 4.0 is in Beta without a release date, so would you say it would be best to install 3.6 if wanted by May 30th and upgrade whenever 4.0 is available?

Will 4.0 be available by July 2010? Maybe I could hold his installation until then...

I suggest to mantain the 3.6 because the 4.0 is still in progress and for professional use we suggest also to use only after 3 month from official release (that's the same policy we use with our corporate customers)
