Let me start off by saying I am completely new to Docebo so this question may be nothing more than ignorance on my part. I have LDAP configured and am able to authenticate registered users successfully against Active Directory. Is there a way of using LDAP to create and maintain the user accounts in Docebo? I understand that I can create a CSV file and import the users that way but if it were an automatic process using LDAP that would be great. Thanks!

Hello,
no, at this moment you can only enable the ldap authentication form admin > configuration > Common > LDAP parameters but you need to have a corresponding user in docebo in order to associate it to a course and let him login. In this case the password stored for the user in the docebo platform is not considered and the one from ldap will be used.

What will happen if the username doen't exist in the ldap? Will the password in docebo then be used?

from what I can remember, when ldap authentication is enabled the Docebo one is by-passed so it should return you an error.
