Just a general question what everyone thinks is the best SCORM program.
I ask this because I found to much crap to find anyting good.

We use captivate with HUGE flash customized code and customized api
Captivate is good but when customer ask for customization you have to be flaxible and integrate with lot of actionscript 3 code

I think it depends on the level of complexity you want to achieve with your SCORM object.  Actually I'm using course lab, that it is a free e-learning authoring tool and I've also used LIM (Books Interactive Multimedia). Using LIM, you can create the content but  you need an additional tool to create the SCORM object, and I use reload for that task. You can use reload to create a SCORM object joining whatever contents you have created with other tools (webpages, videos...).

I'm relatively green and only produce web training for the projects I am working on. (We are not a training production house).  I use Articulate.  It makes it really easy.  It plugs into Power Point which almost everyone already knows how to work.  Has lots of options so you can make some flashy stuff too.

Articulate is good for rapid learning, very easy to use.
BUT
when you go to mesure the learning quality probably you will see that some KPI are missed and you will feel the need to have more "immersivity" in learning content.
Anyway, Articulate is a very good product

Hi I tried out ToolBook 10.5 which is really simple to use but when i came to upload the Scorm 1.2 or 2004 file I was always given an error.

 

All I need to do is have MOV files embedded so that users can view them could anyone suggest a simple application that can do this or maybe there is a better method??

Having a bit of an issue I got Adobe Captivate on a trial basis and thought it would work was about to purchase it but yesterday I tried uploading to LMS and it didn’t take now I just tried uploading to your demo LMS to see if it would work and it didn’t do you have any suggestions to get it to work ??

We work with captivate and all works well.
Did you export in scorm format? Anther way is to create scorm pack with reload editor (better way)
