Does anyone know what the WebPages options is for under e-learning->External Content->Web Pages?

I have created one, hoping I could use it to create a link in the LMS that would point to my CMS but all it does is create a list....best I can tell.

Can you explain to me how I get these pages to show up in the homepage after I create them?
I'm using 4.0.2.
