I see from a earlier post that you where looking on enabling multiple uploads in 4.x using Ajax + flv.
Is there any progress on this feature?

yes this is planned but there are not release dates scheduled / we don't plan to have this implemented in a short period as this isn't a priority; so probably for 4.2.x
