Object : Disable change password on user
I need to be able to disable the "change password" for my guest user. How can I do that?

Hello,
you should be able to do this from administration > elearning > settings > user area in lms and deselecting the green "V" (check sign), so that it turns to grey, near "User profile".

Giovanni.

But that effects every user, not just the guest user. Still if I disable the user profile module on the right, you can still se the userprofile link above the logout link on the top right. I need to disable password change for a spesific user, not site wide.

Hello,
if you mean the "guest" level of a course, this is limited to the course and not to the whole platform so you can't show or hide the change password featured based on that.

And anyway it is not possible to hide the change password feature only for some users / according to their level. You should change the code that draws the page but this require programming knowledge.

bye,
Giovanni.

No I don´t mean the guest level. Not any level at all actually. This is user spesific, block password change for one single user.

But as you say, it´s not possible in docebo. ok.
It would have been a helpful feature tough.

So I've followed the instructions above and find they are dead wrong! Disabling the ability for a user to change their password in settings and unchecking their profile box in menus has no impact.

The user can still access the change password link from within their User Profile.

The more I try to work with this product, the less entheusiastic I'm getting.
