Object : HTML page display doesn't show style
Hello,
I have created an HTML page inside a course  using the proper option of the teacher's area. The editor works fine and I can add styles (text color, alignment and so on) like  in this post. I save the changes  but  the page shows as if I hadn't applied any style to it ( in plain black text). For any reason the save option doesn't save the styles. Does  anybody Know  why is this happening or how to solve the problem?

Thanks in advance.
Ciao,
Halane

Hello,
are you running it as a normal user or as a god-admin?

bye,
Giovanni.

Hello,
I am running it as a normal user (instructor).  If I run it as a god-admin everything works fine, but I thought that the teacher should be able to add style to its content.
Bye,
Halane

Hello,
as a normal user certain styles are removed for security reasons.. but simple styles like color and alignment should be kept; which version are you using?

bye,
Giovanni.

Hello,
I'm using Docebo 4.0.4 and it doesn't save any style as a instructor using the editor or using HTML directly .  For example if I add the following HTML :
<h2 style="color:red;background:black;">This is a red heading with a black background</h2>

I see it as it should (black background with red text) but when I save the webpage the style isn't saved, if I edit the HTML I just see:

<h2> This is a red heading with a black background </h2>

I understand that certain styles cannot be allowed, but I don't know what is causing that the basics doesn't work. I tried to test it in your Docebo demo and I got an html purified error:
Fatal error: Directory
/var/www/vhosts/demo.docebo.org/httpdocs/addons/htmlpurifier/standalone/HTMLPurifier/DefinitionCache/Serializer
not writable, please chmod to 777 in /var/www/vhosts/demo.docebo.org/httpdocs/addons/htmlpurifier/HTMLPurifier.standalone.php on line 9679
Bye,
Halane

Hello Giovanni,
If I run the course as Administrator instead of as Instructor it doesn't work either, it only works if I am the superaministrator (god-admin)

Bye,

Elena
