I'm having issues uploading / playing a flash object, in release 4.0.4.

I select:
   New Learning Object
   HTML Page (new)
   change the title
   click on the media embed
   type flash
file/url --- click on the button to upload my file
area mod media screen comes up - click add
(!) Notice: Undefeined index: type in c:\wamp\www\docebocore\addons\mod_media\index_tiny.php on line 15  comes up
browse (I browse to the .swf file to add

 a.) what's the error I encountered mean?
b.) what should be used for media url?

Hi,
Here is what I do:
- I am logged in as admin
Admin Area
- In the Admin area->E-learning->E-learning
- In the category tree choose where you want to put the course
- Click New (create a new course) as an e-learning course
- Assigna an appropriate menu to the course
- Register a user to this course
- Set the user level to Administrator
Jump to:LMS (chage to LMS area)
- Under My Courses and E-learning choose your course
- In the instructors menu choose Learning Object Management
- In Course objects -> New Learning Object
- Choose object type. If you have a flash published as a scorm package choose scorm and click new.
- Choose the scorm package and upload it.

To use the scorm option you must have a valid scorm package. We use Adobe Captivate and Articulate Studio and have no problems importing these packages.
Once you have everything ready go back in the Admin area and to your course and make it available for your users.
Hope this helps,
Rgds,
Trond

We do not have a scorm object--- just plain flash.

Scorm is a large dollar investment for the amount of training we do.
