When in learning object such as FAQ / Link

There is the item at the bottom called fix sequence error - have tried to find out what this is for and how it operates but have not come across anything.

Can someone please enlighten me - is it needed ?? can it be removed ??

If you re-order or delete menus or whatever is in the list, occaisionally the index won't update so you will end up with menus out of order or missing entries.  Fix sequence order corrects this.  I have seen it most often in manage menu when I remove the forums etc.
