Object : Embedded Media
Hi All -

When logged in as an instructor and I embed media content or embed code to link to external video player - everytime I go to check in the course contents that is has worked there is nothing there  - when I go back to the object the code has gone.

Seems to work when logged in as administrator -

Can anyone direct me to where I can change the settings so an instructor is able to embed media as cannot find it for the life of me.

Also while I am here - anyone had success of playing and storing objects from a CDN ??

Hi Vithani:

You most likely cannot play media outside the domain due to cross domain policies.

As for embedding media, the HTML editor in Docebo really is terrible, I will be presenting a replacement editor to the Docebo gang for consideration in the near future.

You are probably doing things corectly in the editor when you try to embed media, however, this editor does not tell you when things go wrong.
I suggest you endure you have all the HTAccess rights setup for you files folder and maybe even check in FTP after you do a test upload of media to see if it actually did upload.

Best Regards,
