Object : SCORM _ERROR_UPLOAD
Hello,

I know there are many Threads about this Error, but none of the mentioned Solutions helped me.

The Upload Type is FTP and I can connect via a FTP Client and upload Files, also to the scorm Folder.
Safe Mode is OFF, Filesize / Upload Limits are not the Problem.
I already tried with other SCORM Zip Examples, but I also get the Error.

From within docebo (4.04) I can upload different Files for example jpgs and swfs but if I try to upload SCORM I get the error: _ERROR_UPLOAD.
After that in the scorm Folder I can actually see that the SCORM Files have been unzipped.

I would really appreciate any Help, because I don't know anymore what I could check.

Tanks!

Hall Dennis

Hi:

100% of the time that I have had this error, it has ALWAYS been my IMSManifest.xml file being incorrect somewhere.
When you have this error, and ALL your files uploaded, the issue may well be in the ORG section of your IMS file (you may have a duplicated Resource identifier).
If only some files upload, usually the error is in the RESOURCE section of your IMS file.

I just posted this thread in the SCORM and IMS section.

Go there, get my sample zip file, upload it, and run it.

If it all works, I can almost gaurantee it's your IMS file.

Best Regards,
Dennis Hall

on my experience, do not change its name,  when saving and compressing the scorm files.

and you should not  use languages such as chinese or arab in the file names, you can change it after it is uploaded, in the course settings.

and also you should check the network conditions.

good luck.

Thank you both for your replies.

I tried uploading your SCORM Sample but I also get an _ERROR_UPLOAD.

Any other advices?

The zip file I created is about 21 MB.
What is you MAX FILE UPLOAD SIZE for your server?

If you do not know it:
1. rerun your install
2. Click next to get to the page that tells you your configuration
3. Paste it into this forum

Another suggestion, switch to FTP file upload if you have not already, doing so, will allow you to clean up the folders because apache propably now owns teh folders that have crashed during upload.

Finally, doing an FTP upload lets you just upload the imsmanifiest.xml file vie the SCORM uploader, then you can FTP the rest of the files up.

Goog luck.

Yesterday I switched from FTP Upload back to FS Upload and after that uploading of SCORM Files does finally work.

Thanks again for your Help!

NP Ben:

It sounds like it may have been an FTP premission issue for the scorm subfolder.
