The adoption of mobile learning has happened faster than expected. The main driver for the mlearning revolution is basic consumer behavior – there’s at least one smartphone in each hand. In contrast to what we saw with the PC and laptop, this revolution is “happening first at home and then flowing into the workplace”. (Gary Woodill)

Mobile learning is learning on-the go and learning at the point of need, but it is also a way of consuming content, a social experience and an informal way to learn. The vast majority of mobile apps represent on-demand content, performance support or education.

Recently, Docebo released a comprehensive industry report on mobile learning, with contributions from specialist instructional designers, elearning experts and HR professionals from around the world. In this post we’d like to give you a preview of the report.
