Learn how to get better insight into learning performance with this essential webinar
As the provider of one of the world’s leading learning management systems, Docebo fills a certain niche in the market of eLearning. That said, we’re well aware that our solutions are only enhanced by our links to some of the key content authoring tools out there.
That’s why we are happy to announce both a new partnership and new integrations with Lectora, an eLearning development and content authoring tool developed by Trivantis Corporation. Released in 1999, Lectora is one of the leading content authoring tools and is used by organizations in more than 60 countries around the world. It’s used to create online training courses, assessments, and presentations.
And now Lectora has joined forces with Docebo in the name of seamlessly offering course content within an easy-to-use, cloud-based, scalable platform that facilitates formal and informal learning and enables increased interaction between subject-matter experts (SME) and learners.
Making learning easier through integration
Part of the key benefit for customers of both Lectora Online and Docebo is that they’ll be able to easily work within a single environment for the creation and delivery of all learning content, publishing Lectora courses directly into the Docebo platform with a few clicks. It’ll save content authors time and money by enabling them to publish to Docebo through an Experience API (xAPI) extension to any device with Responsive Course Design and with effortless collaboration across authoring teams.
The integration also helps illustrate the imbalance between SCORM and xAPI, some of which are illustrated below, and will be discussed in better depth in the free upcoming webinar, xAPI in Practice Moving Beyond SCORM to a Big Data Future.
Here’s a taste of how xAPI compares to SCORM across a spectrum of standard key requirements:
In many ways, the Big Data floodgates have truly opened, but many organizations don’t have insight into the learning they deliver, with the exception of who completed a course. Learning technology has traditionally been unable to capture much else, and this is part of the problem. The Experience API (xAPI), a subject that will be deeply explored in the upcoming webinar, changes the way organizations deliver, track and measure learning. In closing, we invite you to join David Wentworth, Principal Learning Analyst with Brandon Hall Group, John Blackmon, CTO of Trivantis, and Alessio Artuffo, CRO of Docebo, as they discuss the xAPI standard and look at practical applications companies are using today.
