• 3 min read

Docebo has made it into the top 5 in the Craig Weiss Group’s 2017 Top 50 LMS Report

The Top 50 LMSs for 2017 Report, courtesy of the Craig Weiss Group, is officially on the market for purchase – and Docebo is pleased to have snatched the #5 position! CEO and Lead Analyst Craig Weiss based his rankings on assessments of 1,000 vendors on a global scale, so we consider it no small feat to make it into the Top 5.

What Is This Report All About?

Craig Weiss’s annual report announces his picks for the Top 50 LMSs of the year, selected based on a number of criteria that he lays out in more detail on his website and in the report itself. Ultimately, the report acts as a valuable resource for learning professionals who may be purchasing a learning management system in the near future.

Including detailed profiles of the 50 learning management systems that it ranks, it also provides an overall analysis of the market and unique top three LMS lists for a variety of verticals.

Weiss’s report stands out from other “Top LMS” lists in that with its purchase buyers are also granted access to a gated site, where they are able to customize the Top LMS list based on their specific needs, including number of learners, budget, and other factors such as important features.

What Does Craig Weiss Have to Say About Docebo?

“Review my criteria and you will see why Docebo enters into the Top Five,” Craig says simply in his blog post announcing the Top 5 LMSs.

Craig explains in this recent post that user experience – including both the experience of the learner and the administrator – was given a great deal of emphasis in compiling these rankings, as was functionality, features, and the learning environment as a whole.

“Docebo understands the importance of the learner,” says Craig. “With its continuous learning experience, fluid design, and integrations with the top HRIS and ERP platforms on the market, this system stands out as a player in the Enterprise space.”

Craig is also a big fan of Docebo Coach and Share, which he calls “outstanding.” Coach and Share is all about empowering learners to take advantage of informal and social learning within learning management technology. Docebo Coach allows your learners to ask questions and connects them with the subject matter experts, while Docebo Share makes it possible to capture, validate and share user-generated knowledge.

This recognition from the Craig Weiss Group is the latest in a number of exciting accolades over the last few months, including appearing on the Fosway 9-Grid™ as a Core Leader and receiving a Brandon Hall Group Gold Award for Best Advance in Learning Management Technology. We can’t wait to see what the rest of 2017 brings!
