Discover Boston’s Seaport District During DoceboInspire
Welcome to the Seaport District, Boston’s most bustling neighborhood! Great restaurants and world-class museums await and the beautiful Boston Harborwalk is a stone’s throw away. Looking for some activity suggestions? Look no further!
Lawn on D
Literally located in the backyard of the Westin Waterfront, the Lawn on D is an interactive and experiential parcel of urban green space that is home to food trucks, yoga sessions, concerts, art installations and more! Open lawn hours are 7am-10pm, so stroll over there and relax under the sun or stars.
Harpoon Brewery
Located a half-mile from the Westin Waterfront Hotel, Harpoon Brewery and Beer Hall offers daily tours starting at 11am. If a tour isn’t your thing, then simply scope out the beer hall and enjoy some delicious pretzels while sampling the spectrum of Harpoon’s signature offerings – from the flagship IPA, to the Boston Irish Stout, and smooth and malty Octoberfest brew.
Blue Hills Bank Pavilion
Right next to Harpoon is one of Boston’s more unique concert venues – the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion. Come to Boston a couple days early to see country star Sturgill Simpson on September 16, or stick around for a few days to hear Alison Kraus and David Gray on September 22.
Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston
A crown jewel of the Seaport District waterfront, the ICA Boston is approximately one mile from the Westin Waterfront and offers an array of multi-media exhibitions and experiences. This September, check out the U.S. debut of Ashes, a video installation from filmmaker Steve McQueen, or the distinctive artwork of Dana Schutz.
Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum
Located on the Congress Street Bridge, atop pristine Fort Point Channel, the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum celebrates and commemorates the single most important event leading up to the American Revolution – the Boston Tea Party. Tours depart every half-hour starting at 10am. Experience a town hall debate, watch Sam Adams debate George III, and throw chests of tea into Boston Harbor!

The Seaport District is booming and you will see ongoing developments throughout the neighborhood. The bar and restaurant scene is on fire, with local spots such as City Tap, Row 34, and Legal Harborside offering genuine Boston experiences, while celebrity chef Barbara Lynch has opened the exquisite Menton and mixology masterpiece Drink just a half-mile from the Westin Waterfront.
Prefer Mexican? Check out Rosa Mexicano, Temazcal, or Papagayo. Or maybe you prefer steakhouses? The Seaport won’t disappoint with succulent options such as Morton’s, Del Frisco, Strega, Ocean Prime, and the recently-opened Mastro’s Ocean Club.
