The second generation was characterized by the ability to leverage the knowledge of the whole organization using social learning to help L&D play a greater role in achieving organizational goals. In this generation, L&D started to place a greater focus on facilitating learning as it happens in real life.
Generation 3 – Artificial Intelligence-Powered Learning
We have now entered the third generation of learning thanks to the introduction of learning-specific artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms.
