Your Docebo LMS can integrate with the Elucidat authoring tool, allowing you to play your Elucidat content inside the Docebo’s E-Learning courses while managing different releases that keep the course updated with the latest version of your content.

To activate the app, log into your Docebo platform as Superadmin, then select the Apps & Features option from the bottom half of the left sidebar.

The app has now been activated in your LMS. Please refer to the next section of this manual to learn how to configure the app.
Configuring your Elucidat App in Docebo
To configure your app, access the Admin Menu by scrolling your mouse over the gears icon in the left sidebar. Then, find the Elucidat section, and press the Manage subitem. Then, on the Manage page, add your public key and API secret into the corresponding text boxes and press Shave Changes.
In order to retrieve this information, access your account, then select the Help Me! item at the top of the page, then select API Access from the dropdown menu. Now, select the Project API button on this page.
Now, in the Add an Application section, type the name for your new app into the corresponding text box, then press the Add Application button.
Once you’ve created the app, you will see the public key in the corresponding row in the list of apps you’ve created. Copy and paste this key into the corresponding text box on the app’s Manage page in your LMS. Finally, select the Account API area and copy and paste the API code, as shown in the picture below.
Once you’ve inserted this information into your LMS, make sure you press Save Changes to complete the configuration. You can now start adding content into your LMS. Please refer to the following section to learn more.
Embedding Elucidat Content into an E-Learning Course
In order to embed content, you have to access your LMS as an Elucidat Administrator or Author. Please remember that Elucidat courses will be embedded into your LMS as learning objects. Begin by accessing the CLOR, or accessing the training materials page for a course in which you want to upload this type of content. Once you’re on the training materials page, press the Add Training Materials button, then select Elucidat from the dropdown menu.
Now, decide if you want to create a new project or embed an existing one. Please note than in order to create a new project, you must be an Elucidat author. For the sake of this manual, we will begin by selecting the Create Course option.
You will be redirected to Elucidat, where you can create a new project. Select the Add a Project button and start creating your content. You can refer to Elucidat’s support area for more information. Once you’ve completed your project, you have to embed the new project into your Docebo course. Let’s see how to embed an existing project.
Once you’ve selected the Elucidat option from the Add Training Materials dropdown menu, press the Select Course option from the Elucidat pop up box to embed a pre-existing project. Now, choose the project you want to embed, along with its release (the release field only appears if the selected project has more than one release). Please Note: Releases must be set as Online (Public) in order to be able to select them for your Docebo courses.
You can also choose whether you want to keep the project updated to the latest release or not. Finally, add a title and a description, then choose the viewing mode and press Save Changes. Now, the Elucidat project has been embedded into your Docebo LMS.
Remember: In order for the Single Sign On functionality to work when you’re creating Elucidat learning objects, you must be logged into your LMS as a user that has the same email address corresponding with an Admin or Author in Elucidat. Otherwise, you will see the following message when you try to create content:
