We’re happy to announce the latest release of the Docebo learning management system (LMS), version 6.5. This latest version contains cool new features and enhancements to start the new year with!
MOOC Builder
The latest version of the Docebo LMS includes the “MOOC Builder” which helps administrators setup a Corporate Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). Activating the MOOC Builder enables you to setup your platform to create Corporate MOOCs – check out these details of the MOOC Builder, including how to use it to create a MOOC.
The MOOC Builder can make a public course catalog visible even to non-registered users; enable self-registration to the LMS from the public page; enable you to sell courses to end users (via the E-commerce App) and create a more engaging environment for users in order to increase user retention (via the Gamification App).
Offline player
Also included in Docebo 6.5 is a new Offline player app that allows users to download SCORM courses onto their Windows desktop computers and run them offline. When users go back online, they can synchronize their courses and their progress back to the LMS. For more on the Offline player check out our recent blog post on how to use it!
Okta integration
Docebo 6.5 enables customers to take advantage of integration with Okta, an integrated identity and mobility management platform that connects people to their applications from any device. Users can create a Docebo app inside Okta. By clicking on the app, learners logged in to Okta can automatically single-sign on (SSO) to Docebo – both behind the firewall and in the cloud. Learners can then get to work immediately since they are presented with all of their apps quickly!The Okta identity platform can help:

Other refinements to the Docebo LMS in version 6.5 include:
- Improvements to the course catalog page, including a new option to show a more marketplace-style course page inside the catalog with rating for users.
- An extended, more configurable notification app with scheduling support
- The ability to schedule reports and email these to the administrator
- An enhancement to the instructor-led training (ILT) classroom app allowing for tests and surveys to be included inside an ILT course
- A new list-view player mode, giving administrators the option to show training materials as a list
- Additional fields visibility
