How Intesa Sanpaolo Produced Over 1 Million Hours of Learning Content With Docebo

• 2 min read

Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A needed to re-connect its learners to its L&D activities – it turned to Docebo to make it happen.

When Intesa Sanpaolo, one of Europe’s largest banking groups, based in Turin, Italy, recognized that its existing training programs weren’t connecting with its more than 96,000 employees, it turned to a new digital learning model designed to enable learning in-the-flow-of work – using the Docebo learning platform.

Flip Existing Learning and Development on Its Head

Needing a way to incentivize learning, and radically change their “modus operandi,” the company turned to Docebo to create an ecosystem of bite-sized learning objects via a white labeled Netflix-style learning portal called Apprendo. Since successfully implementing the new platform, Apprendo now contains more than 1.3 million hours of user-generated learning content.

“We have given birth to a new service model, setting a disruptive approach

that brings learning into everyday life…”

– Massimo Zunino, MediaLab Manager, Intesa Sanpaolo

Emphasize Content That Converts Into More Effective Learning Experiences

The company placed an emphasis on producing bite-sized, user-generated learning content that addresses on-the-job experiences, delivered at the point of need and is reusable across various courses and jobs-to-be-done. It also uses the Docebo learning platform to track learner progress with data analytics and custom reports to identify what content is most effective and target skills gaps to eliminate deficiencies.
